داستان حول محور اسلی، دختری که با قلب مصنوعی زندگی می‌کند، می‌چرخد. مادرش، هولیا، زنی با سه فرزند است که به دلیل مشکلات مالی تصمیمی تلخ می‌گیرد: فروش اسلی به خانواده‌ای که قلبش را از او گرفته‌اند. در سوی دیگر داستان، تولین – مادر ملیکه – پس از مرگ دخترش، اسلی را همچون دختر خود می‌داند و به خانه‌اش می‌برد، اما خانوم بزرگ خانواده مخالف حضور او در عمارت است. با ورود اسلی به این خانه، ماجراهایی پر از احساسات، درگیری و عشق آغاز می‌شود. یکی از زیباترین بخش‌های داستان، رابطه عاشقانه آراس و اسلی است. آراس پیش از مرگ ملیکه و حادثه تصادف، عاشق اسلی شده و این عشق به ماجرایی پر از فراز و نشیب تبدیل می‌شود Aslı Güneş has never truly lived her fragile heart kept her trapped in survival.
